{Find My Eye} Familiar Subjects

I usually take one or two photos of what I've in mind and move on. so 50 photos of the same subjects is a real challenge to me. I changed rooms during this shooting trying to find something new, like a background, or the red carpet in the living room but, in the end, this was my favorite set. I started with four subjects with the same theme: love. and obviously: angels. by the 8th photograph I was done but kept trying. by the 20th I started carrying the subjects through the house searching for inspiration. I guess I'm not very creative. I lost track of time when our cats entered the picture. I've noticed I prefer horizontal photographs. the last photo was vertical and I rotated and like it best this way. my mainly subject are flowers but today is pouring rain.

Hi Ana,
I found it quite difficult too I flit from subject to subject and I know that I like closeups but when the weather is bad like it was today it's difficult to rush in and out ...
Never mind I love the processing part. Thanks for your comment on my blog I'm doing Kim Klassen's Round Trip course on Lightroom so I'm putting in the techniques she is teaching me....

Ana, these images really show the creative perspectives you can get when you push yourself past the usual! The full scene is nicely composed, but I really love the framing of the angel up close. Is there anything from this exercise that you will take with you as you move into the future?

I had already seen the end results of this shoot and it was so interesting to come here and read about the process. As I commented on Flickr, I love the subtle tones you use in your photography and the way you present them.

I laughed thinking earlier I saw a composition of things on my desk.

I like your choice of subjects and they all are muted tones so they sort of match even though they are made from different materials. I too like the closeups.
