{Journey of Recognition} Exploring New Subjects

Alto Douro

this weekend I went with some friends to the great outdoors and I suddenly realized I was out of my comfort zone. I was exploring new subjects in my photography and felt some discomfort because I'm used to flowers and close ups. this is a new world to me and I feel I've to do it more often to know if I like it or not. I love the result though..

Well Ana, you've made amazing pictures of the beautiful outdoors!
I hope I can see more of those.

By the way, I have made some flowers pictures for you: http://demooienatuur.blogspot.nl/2012/11/orchideeen-orchids-orchidees.html

See You....

I really like the contrast of the hardscape of the hills/mountains with the soft billowy clouds and blue sky...beautiful!! :)

This is indeed different for you, Ana, but you've taken landscapes and found the texture and interest in them. Those lines of the terrace and the silvery gleam of the twisting river are wonderful! Both images also have a feeling of balance and of peacefulness... timeless even.

Well then you should definitely get out of your comfort zone more times! These are simply beautiful!

Ana these are gorgeous. You may have been out of your comfort zone, but the results of your shoot and editing are ARTfully beautiful!

I know that feeling! When you are used to close ups the wide open spaces of landscapes can be overwhelming. Great images though! They are still true to your style and you've expanded your comfort zone a little wider. Love it.

I love the result as well - these are gorgeous! It is good to try something new, even though it can feel uncomfortable at the beginning.

The second image really captured me. Are these vineyards?
